East Lake Elementary Luncheon
Alpha Xi Chapter served lunch to the faculty of East Lake Elementary School on August 10th. The menu consisted of chicken salad croissant sandwiches with lettuce & tomato, fruit, choice of potato salad, potato chips or tortilla chips, cookies, cake and iced tea.
During the meal, our members who served talked and visited with faculty members. Leftovers were packaged to go to a faculty member who was absent after being hospitalized. Delta Kappa Gamma brochures were available for interested teachers, and several took one. The school principal gave us a thank you letter to bring back to the chapter.
